Re-Announcement/ Social Worker

In charge of distribution of relief items, Case Management, and child protection resources mapping Distribution of relief items: Ensure the identification of families in need, Respect the confidentiality principles, Ensure the adequate items are distributed to the beneficiaries, Ensure home visits and monitoring Case management: Assume primary case management responsibility to project targeted children. Ensure that risk identification, referral and follow up are conducted. Ensure a prompt and timely response to children determined and identified at ‘high risk’ through project activities. Promote, ensure and establish the child as a central actor in case management practices. Link the child, his/her family and community to child protection resources and networks of assistance. Act in the best interest of the child. Child Protection Resources: Identify and liaise with local resources for referral of cases. Assist in the production of a referral pathway tool, clearly identifying both formal and informal child protection resources. Assist in the coordination and delivery of community child protection awareness raising events. Requested: Emergencies / humanitarian action experience, Openness to working with Palestinian communities, Driver’s license, Computer and communication skills
