Social Worker For The Drug Addiction Recovery Program

Job definition   Involved in health, legal, family and socio-educational interventions with the recovering drug addicts and their families along all stages of recovery. Play a central role in guiding and empowering the individuals for their sustained recovery and integration in their family and society as productive, responsible and drug free citizens. Operating within a multidisciplinary team. Education BA in Social Work, Sociology or Family counseling. A Master degree is a plus.   Experience  A minimum of three years experience in jobs related to family counseling, community work, substance abuse and addiction recovery, counseling, social work or service, health care, NGO programs or educational organizations.  Member of Scout or Christian movement or Red Cross or other is a plus.   Other requirements & skills Age: 25 and above Languages:  Fluent in Arabic,  English & French Computer skills:  Competent in using Word, Excel and Power Point   Personal attributes Committed Christian, honest, transparent, patient and humble Excellent communication skills, team player, creative, multi-task oriented Strong sense of responsibility and  accountability Handles crises and emergency situations and adapts to change   Additional information This position requires some presence in weekends and/or some evenings
