Save the Children has been operating in Lebanon since 1999 and is recognized for its commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration.  Save the Children currently implements programs in Child Protection, Education, CRC and Emergency Response throughout Lebanon.   Save the Children is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the following positions, on 5month/ 6 months  contracts, with possible extentions,   for its Lebanon Country Office, in the following locations Beirut, Tripoli, Akkar and Bekaa:     Social Workers – all field locations (Kubayyat, Tripoli and Bekaa) The social workers will facilitate, collect and report information regarding the overall situation of the Syrian refugee children and their families in the community.  They will identify social, psychological and socio-economic needs, refer cases, lead outreach activities and assist in the organisation of trainings and workshops.  They will provide quality information and advice to the Field Managers and Program Managers.  They will ensure a strict adherence to the principles of Child Protection at all times.   Job Requirements: Background in social work and qualification in relevant discipline Minimum 2 years experience of working directly with children, families and stakeholders Excellent report writing and communication skills – both written and verbal Excellent computer skills and able to maintain files, registers and databases     APPLICATION PROCESS   Please note that the closing date for applications is Sep 30th.   The selection committee will review all applications as they are received.
