Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters. Scope of responsibilities   Under the overall management of the Medical Team Leader, the health Promoter will: Supervises and supports the IEC component of the project and participates in its development; Establishes a communication network with the community; Organizes meetings and presentations to raise awareness on health issues, mental health and health messages needed to be sent to the community; Promotes MSF services; offers Information Education Communication (IEC) interventions according to the objectives of the project. Technically supported by the Communication Officer when required. Perform verbal translation whenever an expatriate requires it either within the medical facilities or outside. Draft and plan IEC material and new activities for the communities served by the MSF services.
