Assistant Head Of Mission

Based inBeirut, under the direct supervision of the Head of Mission, you will be in charge to assist the Head of Mission in the daily management of the mission, through the following tasks: REPORTING You receive, take acknowledgment, consolidate reports sent by the team and transmit them to the Head of Mission, You ensure reports are completed in accordance with deadlines/ compliance requirements, You support the Head of Mission to regularly update partners/donors/stakeholders on project and activities follow-up INTERNAL COMMUNICATION You will assist the Head of Mission to ensure a good communication / information transmission to each member of the team EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION You participate actively to coordination and information meetings (clusters, NGO coordination, etc.) when needed You participate actively to the liaison with stakeholders, through preparation of administrative files, authorisation requests, and meetings CONTEXT FOLLOW-UP You are in charge of daily press review and to disseminate it Head of Mission You liaise with UN agencies, NGOs and other external actors to gain security information and analysis You follow the movements of the team You consolidate the information in the dedicated tools  THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Experience at a similar position in INGO Experience at a project-related position Good knowledge and notherenLebanonand Bekaa Very good writing skills in English / Experience with writing in English Good command of written and spoken English (knowledge of French would be an asset). Good communication capacities Good networking capacities Ability to manage an important work load Knowledge of computers and Microsoft applications
