Amel Association is a non-governmental organization established in 1979. Through its 23 centers across Lebanon, Amel Association provides access to health care services and implements development programs targeting underprivileged population, regardless of their nationality or political and religious affiliations. Amel Association also aims to strengthen the culture of rights among citizens, refugees and migrants and promote access to their rights and their involvement in public life. AMEL is seeking to fill the position of Head of Center. The incumbent will be based in Haret Hreik center. He/ She will be working under the supervision and in close collaboration with the program coordinator.   Main Responsibilities: -    To manage, monitor and assess the implementation of the center activities. -    To prepare monthly progress reports to be sent to the program Coordinator. -    To liaise with relevant NGOs, government agencies and national institutions to maintain a network and cooperation in social, psychological and educational fields. -    To represent Amel Association in coordination meetings with partners and NGOs and coordinate monitoring visits -    To supervise staff, follow-up on staff attendance, and monitor performance to ensure that activities are delivered according to the expected results and the terms of contracts. -     To recruit the required staff to run the various center activities. -     To provide adequate training and continuous support necessary for staff development and well-being -     To manage expenses according to the budget -      To be responsible of the petty cash available at the center   Required Skills: -      Excellent organizational, planning and analysis skills -      Flexibility and excellent communication skills -      Team work and human resources management skills -      Ability to resolve problems properly -      Ability to take decisions -      Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
