Data Entry Officer

The aim of the SDC Cash Support Programme is to improve capacities and socio-economic conditions of approximately 500 individual families and 2-4 communities for hosting displaced Syrians in Akkar region, north of Lebanon, over a period of 10 months. Expected start of the programme is July 2012. Mada in cooperation with SDC is implementing the programme. .  Specific Duties and Responsibilities  Input relevant data collected in the field in accordance with the guidelines established by the database manager Monitor the data for any inconsistencies established with the database manager and report If necessary, contribute to the identification and selection of beneficiaries Ensure the timely and complete input of all relevant data Contribute to the timely production of interim and final status reports for the project management Provide limited support for software install configuration and maintenance Provide when necessary required information to field office inquiries and data entry requests Ensure routine data transfer and backup  COORDINATION Participating in the coordination bodies and playing an active role where appropriate. Coordination with line manager to ensure efficient and timely implementation of the project . Working environment The SCO Beirut internal regulations as per the operational manual and others are to be respected at all times.  Working language is English. Duty station is Qobeiyat, Akka   Knowledge required ü  Minimum baccalaureate diploma ü  Computer and Microsoft office suit proficiency ü  Experience working in Akkar ü  Experience working with international and local NGOs is a plus ü  Experience in typing at high speed ü  Experience with data bases ü  Experience with donor agency is a plus ü  Language: Arabic and English mandatory Skills required ü  Good interpersonal skills ü  Organisation ü  Initiative ü  Adaptability ü  Relations ü  Teamwork ü  Capacity to work in a multi-cultural environment
