Job Title: Psychosocial Field Officer
Direct Supervisor: Regional Mental Health Coordinator
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Program
- Ensuring activities and trainings run according to protocol and programme development.
- Developing and identifying necessary measuring tools to assess success in accordance to indicators of program.
- Develop M&E tools and analysis of program M&E activities in the field as assigned by Regional Psychosocial Coordinator.
- Work closely with IMC national psychosocial staff and psychosocial logistics officer to ensure that psychosocial and clinical mental health programming and activities in Lebanon are coordinated
- Program development and recommendations, as required.
- Ensure programming is on track in absence of direct supervisor; reporting daily on important issues that require supervisor feedback and decision making.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Gathers from the field, Classifies and codes mental health data to be entered; keys from a variety of prepared and original source documents, forms, and records; identifies and corrects errors; performs clerical and related office tasks as assigned, such as maintaining records of work received and work performed; verifies data input;
- Completes intake assessments, evaluations, treatment recommendations, reviews, and other documentation as necessary.
- Developing and identifying necessary measuring tools to assess success in accordance to indicators of program.
- Implementing and coordinating measurement tools in the field.
- Taking the lead in following up and monitoring of data entry in the UNHCR Refugee Assistance Information System (RAIS) set up at the different locations.
Reporting
- Keeps track of patient numbers/cases through IMC outpatient records, to be submitted at the end of every month.
- Data collection, collation and analysis.
- Program documentation, data collection, analysis, final outcomes report for donor reports.
- Documentation of all activities and outcomes. Submit regular reports to Regional Psychosocial Coordinator.
- Office documentation and other duties as required by Regional Psychosocial Coordinator.
- The Senior PS Field Officer will report directly to the Regional Psychosocial Coordinator.
