Operations Manager

Chemonics International Inc, a leading international development consulting firm, seeks both long and short-term candidates for a two year Municipal Good Governance program in Lebanon funded by USAID. This program will provide technical assistance to select Lebanese government municipalities to allow for better resource management and access to capital assistance. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world and demonstrate leadership, versatility, and integrity in their work. The Operations Manager will work to ensure the smooth and effective running of the project by developing financial, administrative and other support systems, and instituting compliance mechanisms. S/he also will oversee procurement and subcontract activities, ensuring compliance with project and USAID policies, procedures, rules and regulations as well as Lebanese laws. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of experience managing operations for international donor-funded projects. Fluent Arabic and oral and written English language proficiency required.
