Municipality Assessment Manager

Chemonics International Inc, a leading international development consulting firm, seeks both long and short-term candidates for a two year Municipal Good Governance program in Lebanon funded by USAID. This program will provide technical assistance to select Lebanese government municipalities to allow for better resource management and access to capital assistance. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world and demonstrate leadership, versatility, and integrity in their work. The Municipality Assessment Manager will oversee and manage conducting rapid assessments of partner municipalities. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience working in local governance and decentralization, as well as experience in conducting rapid assessments and making targeted recommendations. Fluent Arabic and oral and written English language fluency required.
