Senior Decentralization And Local Governance Advisor

Chemonics International Inc, a leading international development consulting firm, seeks both long and short-term candidates for a two year Municipal Good Governance program in Lebanon funded by USAID. This program will provide technical assistance to select Lebanese government municipalities to allow for better resource management and access to capital assistance. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world and demonstrate leadership, versatility, and integrity in their work. The Senior Advisor will lead technical local governance and decentralization activities, including working closely with municipalities across Lebanon to develop and implement action plans. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience, extensive experience working in local governance and decentralization, particularly in development strategic plans at the municipal level and municipal-level citizen engagement. Fluent Arabic and oral and written English language fluency required.
