Project Assistant Sc6 / High Relief Commissioner Office

Assist the High Relief Commissioner with the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the assistance programme for Syrian displaced in Northern Lebanon, in close cooperation with UNHCR and other humanitarian actors. Ensure appropriate supervision, management and coordination of the distribution and provision of medical assistance to Syrian displaced in Northern Lebanon, in close cooperation with UNHCR and theHRCstaff based in Wadi Kaled region. Under the High Relief Commissioner’s supervision, assist in the establishment of similar assistance programmes for Syrian displaced in the Tripoli area. Act as the entry point for UNHCR on operational matters related to the Syrian displaced, including registration of new arrivals, shelter, distribution, medical care, education and outreach/community mobilization activities. Supporting the High Relief Commissioner in advocacy and fundraising efforts related to the Syrian displaced persons. Liaise with relevant Ministries and other humanitarian actors, as needed. Perform other duties as required by the High Relief Commissioner.
