Maternal Child Health And Nutrition (Mchn) Project Field Coordinator

MAJOR TASKS: Assist the Project Manager in monitoring the implementation of the project according to the approved stated objectives, plans of action, budgets and record progress. Identify the most active partners in selected communities to be involved in the Capacity building sessions of MCHN. Develop information, communication and education material on MCHN 7-11 model and its components Train health committees  (existing or newly initiated) to mobilize communities and national stakeholders around MCHN Assist in conducting training sessions on MCHN to WVL partners and front line staff. Document and follow up on the learning during the Project implementation.  Conduct periodic meetings with partner and staff to coach and advice on the progress.  Assist the Project Manager in developing IEC (Information, Education and Communication) material on all the above topics. Assist in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly progress reports on the proceedings of the projects. Assist in all filing issues related to the project, making sure that all related correspondence and documents are filed. Attend and participate in the project’s team meetings. Participate in evaluating the impact of project’s interventions on the beneficiary population periodically (as needed, on occasional basis).              Knowledge and Skills Good interpersonal skills and cross cultural sensitivity. Creative and initiative taker. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn. Major flexibility in accomplishing tasks. Ability to cope and work under pressure. Computer literate in Microsoft Office package. Hold a valid Lebanese driver’s license. Willingness to travel within the country.  Experience One year experience in a similar related job is preferred.
