Science Teacher

To ensure effective education in the discipline / subject of their focus in line with the frameworks, objectives and goals set by the respective department and the School at large. Creates a classroom atmosphere that is conductive to learning. Plans, prepares and delivers lessons to a range of classes in accordance with the set respective frameworks, and using appropriate illustrations and material. Uses interactive and empowering teaching approaches. Marks students' work and gives feedback. Develops weekly lesson plans and supplementary material compatible with the basic instructional philosophy and curriculum of the government. Maintains records of students' progress and development. Participates, as needed, in the developments of departmental strategic plans. Attends departmental meetings, parents' meetings… Supervises students as needed. Abides by all school policies. Perform other duties of similar nature requested by the school management.
