Communication Assistant-Amel Association

  AMEL Association International is a non-governmental Lebanese organization (NGO) created in 1979. AMEL defines herself as non-confessional and independent to any political party.   Amel has been involved for more than 30 years in Lebanon’s poorest regions in Beirut and its South suburb, in Mount Lebanon, the Bekaa valley and South Lebanon. AMEL provides permanent services in her development and health centers located in the regions and additional support through specific programs. The fields of activities of AMEL are:             - Health Care             - Child Development             - Refugees and Migrant support             - Human Rights             - Development of human capacities             - Rural Development   AMEL is seeking a full or part time Communication Assistant to be based in the headquarters in Beirut, Mussaitbeh. The Communication Assistant will be under the responsibility of the Communication Officer. Duties and responsibilities: ·        - Develop awareness campaigns; ·        - Plan, coordinate and edit the newsletter; ·        - Provide website content; ·         -Gather press clippings and issue press books; ·         -Organize the photo library; ·         -Manage the communication inbox and follow-up e-mails.   Required Skills: ·         Excellent communication skills (perfect verbal and written skills), synthetic minded, highly organized and resourceful. Enthusiastic team player Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word…) Ability to take initiatives Ability to speak, read and write Arabic and English French is a plus
