Medecins Sans Frontieres is looking for a psychosocial team of: psychologists socia workers nurses
The multidisciplinary team is expected to be fulfilling the following activities and objectives:
*Improve and protect mental health and psychosocial well-being through a psychosocial intervention.
The intervention will focus on group/family therapy as well as individual consultations. Referral to psychiatrist and treatment will be made if clearly indicated. The intervention will focus on family group and on short-term intervention.
The presence of the social worker and nurse is essential to:
* Facilitate the group work * Observe for individuals who should be followed up individually. * Assess for other medical or social needs and be able to follow up on these cases and make appropriate referrals.
Length of the contract: 4 months Duty stations: Wadi Khaled and Aarsal.

Background and prior experience:
Psychologist: Master in Psychology. Relevant experience with groups and family therapy
Social worker: Social Studies or similar degrees. Prior relevant experience as social worker, preferably with displaced or refugee population, is mandatory.
Nurse: Nursing degree. Emergency experience highly required in order to be able also to work in stabilization, first aid and post operatory care.
