Symposium On Peace Journalism

AltCity is happy to be co-organizing, with MAP, the second public discussion on Peace Journalism! We're excited about this one because MAP has invited a very special guest in the field: Steven Youngblood, professor of peace journalism in the US, and the Director of the Center for Global Peace Journalism, at Park University. Our guest will be sharing his insights and experiences with the teaching and practice of peace journalism in different parts of the world; the role it plays in elections; the US perspective on Lebanese media; and the Lebanese perspective on US coverage of Lebanese news. As always, this event is open to the public. Whether you are a student journalist, a practicing journalist, a citizen journalist, or just active user of social media, then you know you should be here, contribute to the discussion, ask away, and reflect on your own practices. ----- What is MAP?
