Not Who We Are - Documentary On Five Syrian Refugee Women

Film screening organized by Heinrich Boell Foundation, Lebanon. Not Who We Are is a film that tells the story of five women from Syria who share their experience of shattered lives, their loss and longing for simple daily pleasures. It is a story of continuing to hope when you are displaced and your dreams are ruptured. It is a film about building lives when you cannot build a home. The film will be screened in Beirut at Metropolis Empire Sofil Cinema on October 07 at 8:00 p.m A panel discussion and Q&A will take place after the screening.
