Call for applications Launch collective Grassroots initiatives on Social Eco-Innovation [ARABIC BELOW] Do you want to play a bigger role as civil society in the transition to more sustainable ways of life? Do you have an innovative initiative, project or idea in mind to promote Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP)? Grassroots initiatives on Social Eco-Innovation are community-led solutions to promote innovative ideas on SCP. [1]   If you want to lauch a Grassroots initiative on Social-Eco-Innovation, this training is for you!  Join the SwitchMed training! Within the EU funded SwitchMed Programme, the Regional Activity Centre for Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP/RAC) in collaboration with the Green Line Association is launching a call for applications for civil society initiatives which promote Social Eco-innovation. This is a free of charge 4-day training programme for collective initiatives that will enable 20 Civil Society Actors[2]to develop and/or improve Grassroots Initiatives on Sustainable Consumption and Production. The training will take your project idea one step further, building from the expertise and resources made available by SwitchMed. The training will foster mutual empowerment and collective learning, favoring the sharing of knowledge and experiences among participants. The workshop is specifically for civil society representatives who have already an initiative in mind or at an early stage which can promote Social Eco-innovation. With a participative approach, we will develop together adapted tools for your project in order to achieve a bigger impact on the community.  After the training, 2 initiatives will be receiving further technical support. What is a Grassroots initiative on Social Eco-Innovation? Grassroots initiatives on Social Eco-Innovation are a range of community-run projects distinguished by: Collective Social Eco-innovation: this refers to the experimental character of the proposal being held by a group that wants to tackle social and environmental problems in an innovative and unconventional way. This is done by setting up different kind of relationships between people, social groups, organizations, institutions, etc. Being led by the civil society members or a community. The satisfaction of social and environmental needs. The search for change: most of these initiatives are born as a result of dissatisfaction with the ecological and social impacts related to the current economic model. Who can apply for the SwitchMed training? Anyone who fulfills the following requirements: Be involved in an innovative civil society led collective project or initiative within a Sustainable Consumption and Production approach (Grassroots initiative on Social-Eco innovation) Be open to learn through participatory approach and have a will to cooperate with other people and initiatives Be available from the 19th to 22th of February 2016   To apply: please complete the following form before the 24th of January 2016 Click here to apply       During this training, we will: Address all the initiatives following an SCP approach Challenge existing ideas and models Plan the initiatives from the project level and lead them to the next step Exchange information and ideas with successful Lebanese and Mediterranean initiatives Create a network of  Grassroots initiatives on Social Eco-innovation for the promotion SCP About SwitchMed The SwitchMed Programme is a EU funded Regional Programme that aims at facilitating the shift towards SCP in the Southern Mediterranean region. The Programme is about rethinking and redesigning the way goods and services are produced, sold and consumed. It is collaboratively coordinated by the EU, United Nations Industrial Development Organisations (UNIDO), United Nations Environment Programme Mediterranean Action Plan (UNEP/MAP), its Regional Activity Centre for Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP/RAC) and the UNEP-DTIE (Division of Technology, Industry and Economics). The SCP/RAC  is in charge of the Civil Society Empowerment sub-component within the SwitchMed Programme. It aims to promote environmental stewardship and document environmental issues in order to better address them, thus introducing change at the community level within the concept of sustainable development. Green Line has worked since its establishment on a variety of projects, promoting principles and practices of sustainability such as sustainable agriculture, school gardens and school nutrition, energy efficiency, integrated solid management (zero waste). Work was conducted through a variety of tools such as awareness campaigns, capacity development, lobbying and advocacy for policy change and pilot demonstrations. For more information, you can contact us: haifaallabadi@greenline.org.lb or Greenline@greenline.org.lb [1] The kind of initiatives can be: organic food consumers groups, collaborative consumption and sharing initiatives, ethical finance cooperatives, housing cooperatives and associations focused to sustainable lifestyles and sustainable building, renewable energies' cooperatives and consumers groups, social initiatives reducing material and energy consumption and waste generation, etc.  [2] Represented by members of Civil Society Organisations-CSOs, Non-Governmental Organisations-NGOs, environmental organisations, consumer groups, social movements or community-based initiatives, among others     دعوة لتقديم طلبات               اطلاق مبادرات مشتركة بشأن الابتكار البيئي الإجتماعي              هل تريد ان تلعب دورا كبيرا في تحول المجتمع الى أساليب حياتية اكثر استدامة؟ هل لديك مبادرة مبتكرة لمشروع او فكرة تعزز مفهوم الاستهلاك والانتاج المستدامين؟ المبادرات الشعبية حول موضوع الإبتكار البيئي الإجتماعي هي حلول مبتكرة يقودها المجتمع المحلي للترويج للأفكار المتعلقة بمفهوم الإنتاج والإستهلاك المستدام[1] إذا كنت تريد إطلاق مبادرة محلية حول موضوع الإبتكار البيئي الإجتماعي، فإن هذا التدريب موجَه إليك، إنضم إلى تدريب "SwitchMed". في اطار برنامج  SwitchMed الممول من الإتحاد الاوروبي، تقوم جمعية الخط الاخضر وبالتعاون مع مركز الأنشطة الاقليمي للإنتاج والاستهلاك المستدام SCP/RAC يتم إطلاق دعوة تقديم طلبات لمبادرات ابتكارات المجتمع المدني التي تروج لمفهوم الإبتكارات البيئية الإجتماعية. هذا البرنامج هو برنامج تدريبي مجاني لمدة اربعة ايام مخصص للمبادرات المشتركة،  يستهدف 20 من ناشطي المجتمع الأهلي وذلك لتطوير وتحسين المبادرات المحلية   المتعلقة بمفهوم الاستهلاك والانتاج المستدامين. ستأخذ هذه الدورة التدريبية فكرة مشروعك خطوة الى الامام، بناءً على الخبرات والموارد التي اتاحها  SwitchMed.  يهدف التدريب   إلى تعزيز التعاون المتبادل والتعلّم، كما ويعزز تبادل المعارف والخبرات بين المشاركين. ورشة العمل هذه موجهة بشكل خاص لممثلي المجتمع المدني الذين لديهم فكرة مشروع أو فكرة مبدئية  حول موضوع الإبتكارات البيئية الإجتماعية. وخلال ورشة العمل هذه سنحاول معاً إيجاد وتطوير الادوات المناسبة لمشروعك من اجل تحقيق تأثير اكبر على المجتمع. بعد التدريب، سيتم إختيار مبادرتين اثنتين لتلقي الدعم التقني.   ما هي المبادرات الشعبية/المحلية حول الإبتكار البيئي الإجتماعي؟ المبادرات المحلية هي مجموعة  مشاريع  تديرها مجموعات فاعلة فاعون في المجتمع ومن مميزاتها:إبتكار بيئي إجتماعي بشكل جماعي: وهذا ما يشير الى الطبيعة التجريبية للاقتراحات المتبناة من قبل مجموعة ما، والتي تريد معالجة المشاكل الاجتماعية والبيئية بطريقة مبتكرة وغير تقليدية. ويتم ذلك عن طريق انشاء أنواع مختلفة من العلاقات بين الافراد والفئات الاجتماعية والمنظمات والمؤسسات وغيرها.يقودها اعضاء من المجتمع المحلي أو من المجتمع المدني. تلبي الاحتياجات الاجتماعية والبيئية.البحث عن التغيير: معظم هذه المبادرات تولد نتيجة لعدم الرضا عن الآثار البيئية والاجتماعية الناجمة عن النظام الإقتصادي القائم.  من يمكنه ان يشارك في تدريب SwitchMed؟    أي شخص تتوفر لديه الشروط التالية:أن يكون مشاركاً  بأحد المشاريع المبتكرة للمجتمع المدني[2]  أو أن يكون لديه مفهوم الانتاج والاستهلاك المستدام ( مبادرة شعبية في الإبتكار  البيئي الاجتماعي).ان يكون منفتحاً على التعلم من خلال نهج تشاركي ومستعداً للتعاون مع الناس ومع المبادرات الأخرى.ان يكون متوفراً من 19 الى 22 شباط 2016. للمشاركة:  يرجى تعبئة النموذج التالي قبل تاريخ 24 كانون الثاني (يناير) 2016 http://goo.gl/forms/m2UtVp35kU   خلال هذا التدريب سنقوم بما يلي: معالجة جميع المبادرا ت من مقاربة  الإنتاج والإستهلاك المستدامين       تحدي الافكار والنماذج القائمة تخطيط المبادرات على مستوى مشاريع ، والانتقال بها الى المرحلة التاليةتبادل الافكار والمعلومات  مع مبادرات ناجحة  في  لبنان ومنطقة البحر المتوسطإنشاء شبكة للمبادرات المحلية/الشعبية حول موضوع الإبتكار البيئي الإجتماعي للترويج لمفهوم الإنتاج والإستهلاك المستدامين.  حول SwitchMed  برنامج  SwitchMedاقليمي وممول من الاتحاد الاوروبي ويهدف الى تسهيل التحول نحو مفهوم الانتاج والاستهلاك المستدامين في منطقة جنوب البحر الابيض المتوسط. البرنامج هو من اجل اعادة التفكير واعادة تعريف وتصميم كيفية انتاج السلع وبيعها واستهلاكها. [2] ممثلة بأعضاء منظمات المجتمع المدني، منظمات غير حكومية، منظمات بيئية، مجموعات المستهلكين، الحركات الاجتماعية أو المبادرات المحلية من بين أمور اخرى.
