We are searching for…
Professional Screenwriter with a main goal to write a script of maximum seven episodes to be aired on a local TV channel as part of a project that aims to promote women’s participation in politics through television drama by:
1) Strengthening the capacity of television professionals to produce gender sensitive programs that promote women’s participation in politics

2) Increasing belief of television audiences in women’s political leadership capacity

Your contribution                                                                                                                         

The roles and responsibilities will likely include:

·         Coming up with story, themes and ideas

·         researching background material

·         developing believable plots and characters

·         laying out the screenplay to an agreed format

·         preparing short summaries of your ideas

·         working within the production guidelines set by SFCG team, partners, and consultants.

·         prepare a synopsis, treatment, character analysis, and an outline of the script  

·         Working closely with our team and the partners.

·         Finalizing the script in order to arrive to an agreed version

·         Modify, review, and rewrite partial or full the episodes when requested by SFCG team, partners, and consultants.

·         Meet the production creative team to discuss the script and the characters during the pre-production and the production phase.

·         Write two mini-series (3 episodes each)

You are…

Search Lebanon seeks an experienced consultant with the following qualifications

Minimum of 5-10 years of related experience

·         Excellent writing ability

·         Creativity and imagination

·         Understanding of gender equality

·         Storytelling skills and an understanding of dramatic structure

·         Good presentation and networking skills

·         Writing of at least on TV drama that has been aired on local or regional TV network.

Selected consultant is expected to commence her/his mission on the 6th of December 2017.
