Psychologist - Reyfoun

The Psychologist will provide psychological support to beneficiaries through individual counseling and/or group therapies.

DUTIES

• Provide psychological services for migrants and refugees
• Provide individual (adults, adolescents and children), family, and/or group psychotherapy 
• Provide clinical interviews, diagnosis, reports and recommendations
• Help individuals with experienced emotional difficulties & mentally disturbed functions cope better
• Provide direct psychosocial support and refer internally and externally as needed, respecting confidentiality and the right of the beneficiary
• Administer and interpret a variety of psychological tests and assessment instruments
• Interface with families, treatment team members and case management
• Conduct discussion group, focus group with individuals, families
• Conduct group therapies
• Conduct psychosocial activities
• Conduct awareness sessions with beneficiaries
• Work directly with the social worker to develop intervention plans and follow up at the home level
• Address needs and requests in a professional way
• Report any incident or act that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others
• Always respect a refusal of treatment

ACADEMIC EDUCATION

• BA in Psychology, masters degree is a plus
