The Psychologist will provide psychological support to beneficiaries through individual counseling and/or group therapies.
DUTIES
- Provide psychological services for migrants and refugees
- Provide individual (adults, adolescents and children), family, and/or group psychotherapy
- Provide clinical interviews, diagnosis, reports and recommendations
- Help individuals with experienced emotional difficulties & mentally disturbed functions cope better
- Provide direct psychosocial support and refer internally and externally as needed, respecting confidentiality and the right of the beneficiary
- Administer and interpret a variety of psychological tests and assessment instruments
- Interface with families, treatment team members and case management
- Conduct discussion group, focus group with individuals, families
- Conduct group therapies
- Conduct psychosocial activities
- Conduct awareness sessions with beneficiaries
- Work directly with the social worker to develop intervention plans and follow up at the home level
- Address needs and requests in a professional way
- Report any incident or act that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others
- Always respect a refusal of treatment

ACADEMIC EDUCATION
- BA in Psychology, masters degree is a plus
