Nurse -Bekaa

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Draft a monthly schedule for field visits in coordination with the Medical Advisor

• On a daily basis, support the health staff at RI’s supported health facilities in delivering quality health services
• Closely monitor the epidemiological situation in the catchment area of RI’s supported health facilities with the aim of timely responding to all  health related emergencies, including controlling the prevention and  spread of communicable diseases in the targeted areas and strengthening the awareness raising activities in host communities through the Social Worker and Outreach Volunteers (OVs) to prevent outbreaks

• Ensure availability of all supplies and equipment needed for the health facilities, report concerns to Program Manager, and monitor the pharmaceuticals/vaccines/Reproductive Health /Psychotropic drugs requests to prevent any shortages in supplies
• In coordination with the Medical Advisor and Program Manager, develop an improvement plan for the supported health facilities to improve the quality of service provided and follow up on the implementation plan
• Conduct awareness raising sessions or one to one education at the health facilities based on the beneficiaries needs
• Participate and support the campaigns launched by the sector or the ministry
• Participate in coordination meetings when requested by the Program Manager
• Coordinate closely with the Social Worker and Psychotherapist and refer cases when needed
• Participate in weekly staff meetings and submit reports on time
• Assist Program Manager and Medical Advisor in conduction of training for RI health team, health centers’ staff and OVs  
• Responsible for assisting the health facility staff in weekly/monthly reporting and collecting and compiling the weekly/monthly reports and submission to Program Manager
• Conduct field visits to different area when needed and requested by Program Manager
