Project Manager

Overall objective

Under the supervision and direction of the Program Manager (PrM)/Head of Office (HoO), is in charge of developing and ensuring the good implementation of the Child protection Project in North Bekaa

Tasks and responsibilities

1. Is responsible for the overall implementation of Project cycle, including administration and planning according to project goals and objective, reporting to TDH delegation, donors and Interagency, stakeholders

2. Overall coordination of the project staff and teams in line with TDH standards and procedures

3. He/She participates in making sure that protection and CP policy of TDH IT (TDH-It Code of Conduct) are understood and respected by all involved staff and for all activities.

4. Supported by the Child protection supervisors, He/She coordinates the CM activities and TDH CP/PSS intervention and with other organizations working in North Bekaa, ensuring that the operational and qualitative aspects are properly put into practice (monitoring of objectives, respecting due dates and budgetary provisions, quality control).

5. Supporting the technical staff in planning  trainings for the implementation teams regarding protection, legal aspects ,PSS activities, case management and referral pathways.

6. Improve protection threats analysis & monitoring, information sharing and advocacy: he/she ensures an in depth analysis of data collected by Child Protection team and other child protection actors in the area of intervention; he/she develops external reports if needed. 

7. Representation and coordination: Upon request from his/her supervisors, he/she ensures and coordinates the sectorial representation (e.g. Child Protection, Education Working Group) in the area which he/she is responsible for among partners, donors, authorities and other stakeholders. She/he ensures an efficient coordination with the other components of the project.

8. Monitoring and evaluation: Set up and ensure the continuous monitoring of the activities under his/her management including qualitative and quantitative monitoring; ensuring that proper policy, standards & codes of conduct are enforced.

9. Team management and capacity building: He/She will supervise the Child protection team and liaise with support departments.

10. Capitalization, reporting and communication: He/she assists the Programme manager and/or the Country delegate in providing sufficient and detailed information for program reporting for donors and HQ.

11. Strategy: She/he contributes to the adjustment of current intervention or/and development of new interventions on the basis of identified needs.
