ROLE PURPOSE:
The incumbent will provide support to Information Management - MEAL Unit. The Management Information Systems Coordinator will be working under the direct line management of Information Management Analyst.
SCOPE OF ROLE:

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Under the direct supervision of Information Management Analyst, Management Information Systems Coordinator will:
- Administer and monitor all SCL software applications including CFRMS (Complaints, Feedback and Referral Management System), SCRIMS (Save the Children Regional Information Management System) in addition to ODK Data Collection Server and Sectors’ Activities databases.
- As part of the data and information management strategy, to monitor departmental and sectorial information security, including systems security and integrity, data and information security.
- Expand and enhance SCI data collection tools and data activities to increase the quality of data and explore emerging data management technologies and assess benefit to SCI.
- Design, develop and maintain a user-friendly interface for sectors databases. Manage the sectors’ beneficiary databases and ensure that integrity is maintained in line with data management protocols and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain database/design documentations and operating manuals on use of the databases and data collection tools. Develop training packages on the use of the databases.
- Assist in the mapping of programs’ activities and interventions achievements; support geographic data for maps production and use in geographical information systems (GIS).
- Assist in the production of online analytical visualizations that include interactive dashboards, network graphs, Charts and maps.
- Provide advice and assistance to SC Lebanon staff on issues which affect data and information ownership within the Department. This will include direct-input by operational staff, information accuracy and the development of tools.
- To ensure compliance with adopted Information Management data security and privacy standards.
- To develop and implement systems and procedures documentation. This will include the development of information sharing protocols with partner agencies.
- To ensure a consistent response from the department to requests for subject access from employees or other data subjects and requests for departmental information from partner organizations in accordance with policies and appropriate guidelines
- Provide training, capacity building and coaching to the program teams and partners through regular field visits to ensure information management is of the highest quality.
- To assist in identification of departmental training needs in relation to information management, to liaise with HR, and to draw up a programme or the training and instruction of all Departmental staff and initiating training as appropriate
- To liaise and consult with Field offices, sectors, partners, and individuals as necessary.
- To produce information, data and statistics including the analysis of such, across a range of databases as agreed.
- Shall serve as part of information management team and liaise with IT department to maintain all information systems availability rate of 99%
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of information management. To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of the post.
- Performs other Information Management duties as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in, Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in Information Management.
- Experience in the use of GIS Applications (ARC Desktop, ARCMAP), Database applications (SQL, MS Access), data collection tools (ODK, KOBO) or other related computer experience.
- Experience in handling confidential data.
- Good knowledge in analyzing diverse datasets.
- Familiar with Information Management Systems, ERPs, database design and development.
- Good knowledge in management of application software development projects and related activities.
- Considerable knowledge of business analysis and design, including programming procedures and techniques.
- Good communication, interpersonal and liaison skills.
- Tested multitasking skills.
