Finance Manager

Responsible for the overall implementation of the finance functions of the office.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure allocation of costs across programs are in line with budgets and funding source requirements
  • Ensure the accuracy and authenticity of all accounting and financial records and routines, the timely submission of accounting documentation and reports to IMC headquarters, and follow-up of adjustments.
  • Prepare and review financial reports on IMC programs in collaboration with Finance and Administrative Director and program staff
  • Review the day-to-day financial data and payments.
  • Review monthly financial report jointly with the Finance Manager.
  • Ensure financial policies and procedures are in accordance with IMC and funding source requirements and local regulations
  • Supervision and mentoring of finance staff
  • Prepare budgets in collaboration with program staff.
  • Review monthly pipelines and meet with program team for projection updates.
  • Assist and prepare for internal and external audit visits.
  • Follow up with split for closure and any other task assigned to him.
  • Can assist and replace the FAD in any assigned meeting, if requested.
  • Prepare the yearly performance review for the Finance team.
  • Manage the financial data received from sub-recipients into IMC’s templates and report to the donor as per unified reference coding.
  • Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Experience needed:  Minimum 3 years experience, Managerial experience is a preference.
