General Responsibilities:
• Develop the annual curriculum plan in coordination with teachers.
• Supervise and collect monthly lesson plans for subjects and provide a monthly report to the learning center project manager.
• Follow-up preparation of daily lessons with teachers.
• Develop standardized exam questions for each educational level in coordination with teachers.
• Evaluating teacher performance and follow up lesson plans.
• Coordinating with the educational specialist to create new teaching aids relevant to plan.
• Coordinating with the educational specialist to create worksheets for materials as needed.
• Photocopy of worksheets according to the quantity required by teachers.
• Conducting periodic meetings with teachers to discuss the educational process, and the informing the learning center project manager with the meeting outcomes and action points.
• Archiving all educational documents (lesson plans, worksheets, translated materials, etc.) with soft and hard copies, organizing them and submitting them to the learning center project manager.
• Follow-up with partners regarding the educational aspect only, and informing learning center project manager with the correspondence and updates.
• Help translate the necessary tools for work.
Participate in the recruitment of teaching staff along with the project manager/ deputy area manager and HR team in coordination with the area manager;
- Establish and conduct meetings with local stakholders for the benefit of the project.
- Participate in educational working groups conducted by international and local partners;
- Assess trainings needs of the team, and identify suitable trainings conducted by international and local partners for their participation;
Responsibilities with the Protection team:
- Ensure that all the staff recruited are familiar with B&Z’s Code of Conduct and protection standards;
- Ensure quality and minimum child protection standards are implemented and respected in all activities, including the child safeguarding policy;
- Ensure that all the staff are able to identify at-risk cases and refer them to the social workers in the learning center.
Responsibilities with the Monitoring and Evaluation team:
- Ensure that all data related to the project is documented, available and organized upon the request of the program or M&E team.
- Ensure that student's attendance are documented on daily bases.
Responsibilities with the learning center project manager:
- Ensure that the work plan meets the objectives, targets and timeline of the project through coordinating with operation teams;
- Ensure that all communications with the team are in line with B&Z values;
- Ensure that all communications with beneficiaries, partners, and donors are in line with B&Z values;
- Ensure and sustain positive relationship with the parents.
- Attend and active participation in the meetings on administration level in the learning center as needed
- Provide positive contribution to the learning center;
- Ensure that all the classes are scheduled based on clear schedule and suitable timing in coordination with the center manager.
- Any other related tasks as per request of the learning center manager
- Monitor and manage teacher’s workflow and tasks such as attendance, behavior with students.
- Monitor and evaluate the given curriculums and make necessary adjustments when it's needed.
- Responsible for all admission approvals and consensus when needed.
- Coordinate with the logistics officer regarding all the stationary and related equipment’s.
- Coordinate with other educational coordinators to share best practices, lessons learned, and possible challenges
