Translator

Fe-Male is a civil feminist collective working with women and girls to eliminate injustice through building a young feminist movement, empowering agents of change, and campaigning together against discriminatory norms and policies.

In partnership with ABAAD, Fe-Male is currently looking for a “Translator” for a project aiming to ensure a better quality of life free from violence for women and children in Lebanon through contributing to improved protection, prevention, and service provision.

Responsibilities

• Translate a policy paper about media and gender from Arabic into English;
• Proofread and edit the full document in English and Arabic;
• Deliver the document within the assigned deadline;

Qualifications and Skills

• Extended knowledge of NGOs terminology;
• Fluency in Arabic and English;
• Detail-oriented and ability to work quickly to meet the deadline;
• Excellent written communications skills
