Community Manager

In a context of broadening the democratic space for citizen participation in public affairs and local governance, and seeking greater citizen awareness of and positive contribution to policy changes, an Open and Social Web City will be create (internet Platform), where five municipalities will publish full information concerning their municipal institution and where the citizens and civil society initiatives will be using an active engagement space to monitor the municipal operations and ensure transparency and accountability at the local level. 

The Community Manager will be responsible for the promotion of the platform on social media and for echoing the local experiences to inspire similar experiences. The Community Manager plays a major role in the pressure campaigns to enhance the level of transparency and access to information.

 Experience working in transparency / public sector / community service related projects  Additional experience in online platforms, inception, development, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phase of projects is a plus  Experience with social media tools  Management skills  Deal with the pressure  Having experience with public relations  Ability to work across multiple projects and under pressure  Excellent communication skills  Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
