IT/ LOG OFFICER

 

Logistics:

  • Ensure implementation of Procurement Process as per HFH /donor regulations including IT related Items.
  • Ensure Validation of other provision contracts (rental, service, etc.) at the administration level
  • Identify and plan the mission’s purchase beforehand (by project) in collaboration with Staff
  • Ensure smooth transportation, delivery and reception of goods including proper required documentation
  • Follow-up the order/purchases until delivery.
  • Control the quantities ordered and received.
  • Make sure Assets list is updated periodically with all items tagged.
  • Provide regular inventory (bi-monthly, monthly quarterly, yearly, etc.) for the different items stored within the mission
  • Act as the direct interlocutor of HFH towards providers and companies, for all issues related to logistics, in coordination with the Finance Admin Manager .

IT Management:

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software debugs.
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant IT reports.
  • Conduct safety checks on all IT equipment.
  • Specify, order and install equipment and software.
  • Provide technical and operational advice to members of staff.
  • Update inventory for all Hardware/Software/Licenses and other types of documentation.
  • Maintain email and internet access 24/7.
  • Install, monitor and maintain server(s) , UPS and networks l( Central , Cables , related items …)

Fleet Management:

  • Make sure HFH Vehicle management procedures are implemented and respected.
  • Define transport means suitable to the needs of projects associated with the mission.
  • Supervise the general follow-up of HFH vehicles (working properly, consumption checks, movement planning, fuel calculation etc.)
  • Ensure a regular maintenance on the different vehicles of the mission, set-up appropriate maintenance contract with suppliers or ensure an appropriate repair process with local technicians.
  • Play particular attention to issues relating to the safe use of vehicles (authorized persons, security equipment, etc.)
  • Handle transport contracts negotiation with suppliers and follow-up, specifically fuel station.
  • Proper management of drivers.

Candidate skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision, be a self-starter, team builder, innovative and demonstrate the capacity for maintaining high professional standards.
  • Willingness to affirm the HFH mission, vision and values.
  • Good communication skills (both written and oral) in Arabic and English;
  • Good analytical and organizational skills, attention to details and determination to meet deadlines
  • Honesty and strong ethics are required in order to be successful in this position;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  •  Demonstrated capacity and willingness to learn - open to learning new ways of doing things;
  • Ability to think outside the box.
