Outreach Assistant

MAIN OBJECTIVE

Each outreach worker will be in charge for the outreach activities in a region

Main RESPONSIBILITIES

- identification and referral of children,

- filling and keeping updated the child forms

- facilitate the enrollment of children in the public schools and governmental educational program

- refer the children in need of tailored support to specific institutions/service providers (health services, other NFE program, PSS services)

- refer to the protection officers cases in need of tailored support that can't be offered within the services provided by the consortium activities nor present in the area of intervention

- conduct home visits to families of children involved in the program. Particular attention will be given to children with irregular attendance to the activities or belonging to extremely vulnerable families.

- organize the awareness campaigns foreseen by the project.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Preferred working experience as education assistant, animator or teacher/facilitator
