Purpose of the consultancy
SDA seeks a trainer to design and deliver pedagogical training in ESL to English teachers in Beirut, Jounieh and Tripoli and provide a follow-up at schools.
At the end of the training, the teacher will be able to:
- Apply the basics of the ESL methods (oral and writing strategies for beginners);
- Design communication situations adapted to the technical world and which answer the real language needs of learners in industrial specialties;
- Integrate educational technologies into the teaching and diversify the resources
Requirements
The Consultant/trainer should possess the following competencies, and experience:
More than 5 years of teaching experience in English;
- Strong pedagogical expertise;
- Strong understanding of the technical schools’ context and the Industrial specialties;
- Previous experience in designing and conducting training;
- Patience and positive attitude is highly requested;
- Strong communication skills;

Command of spoken and written English, French and Arabic are a plus.
