Balanced Scorecard Associate, USAID BALADI CAP, Beirut, Lebanon

Project Summary: 

BALADI CAP is a five-year, technical assistance program funded by USAID/Lebanon that advances the institutional capacities of Lebanese civil society organizations (CSOs) and municipalities/unions to improve the delivery of services to local citizens.

Responsibilities:

During the period of performance, the Balanced Scorecard Associate will perform the following activities in close coordination and cooperation with the BALADI CAP chief of party (COP) and project team:

1. Conduct two (2) general trainings on “Using Balanced Score Card for Strategic Planning .” The trainings are expected to cover the following topics - but are not strictly limited to them:
   1. Tools and skills to help organizations increase their focus on strategy and results.
   2. How to measure and monitor progress towards strategic targets.
   3. How to develop and implement a “balanced scorecard system.”
2. The two (2) trainings are expected to take up to three (3) workdays, comprised of one (1) workday for training preparation and two (2) workdays for training delivery

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in management, public policy, or a related discipline. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in strategic planning, with particular experience in developing balanced scorecards.
• Previous experience in delivering trainings.
• Previous experience working with civil society organizations (preferably, Lebanese CSOs).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly organized work habits, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Fluency in English and Arabic required.
