Assistant Field Officer

Responsibilities

1. Assists the Field Office in identifying vulnerable groups in the field and in reporting on their situation. Collects detailed information and takes note of specific needs.
2. Assists the Field Office in ensuring a fast response to emergency situations, protection-related cases and referrals from other stakeholders providing humanitarian assistance.
3. Ensures that all monitoring visits are properly uploaded on the system and that reports are delivered on time.
4. Visits the projects in PCPM area of intervention and contributes to the progress of activities in order to ensure that they are implemented in line with initial objectives and indicators.
5. Supports PCPM Field Office in Qobayat in conducting surveys with the local community.
6. Maintains up-to-date the survey tacking files in a highly organized way.
7. Supports in improving communications and advocacy materials, while ensuring a high level of follow-up and quality of implementation.

Qualifications, requirements and competencies

1. National Staff Position (only Lebanese citizens are eligible to apply)
2. Two years of field experience
3. Knowledge of humanitarian programmes
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Strong planning and organizational skills
6. Proficiency in Arabic and English
7. Reliability: the position requires fulfilling obligations in a highly responsible manner
8. Coping with pressure: ability to accept criticism and to cope with stressful situations at work
9. Self-Control and maintaining composure
10. Attention to details, good information management
11. Tolerance and adaptability
12. Accurate in taking detailed notes
