Child Safeguarding

Level 3 – the responsibilities of the post may require the post holder to have regular contact with or access to children or young people.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

Reports to: Education Assistant

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Tutoring assigned students in academic subjects and study skills, either individually or in study groups.
• Creating, researching and obtaining curriculum and tutorial tools that suit the needs of students
• Maintaining records on each student who is being tutored in close collaboration with the head of teachers and is close supervision of the education assistant
• Writing and submitting evaluations (placement tests) and other reports as requested
• Helping students develop self-confidence in performing  academic work

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• University degree in teaching
• Bi-lingual fluency in Arabic and English if possible
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with preference in Non formal education
