Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant

Job description:

• Design methodology for baseline and endline study in cooperation with PL project team.
• Plan and conduct research.
• Conduct field interviews, focus groups and desk reviews.
• Compile data and different types of documentation.
• Produce two reports; one presenting the findings of the baseline study and one presenting the findings of the endline study and data analysis in order to measure the impact of our project.
• Provide recommendations and monitoring tools for PL staff to use during project period.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Proven experience in Evaluation, Monitoring and Reporting; knowledge of different approaches, tools, methods.
• Experience in compiling, analyzing and managing data and documentation.
• Knowledge and experience in methods of impact analysis.
• Knowledge and experience in measuring social change.
• Knowledge of NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector.
• Knowledge of Peace Building is an advantage.
• Capacity to produce reports in English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong sense of personal integrity and understanding of confidentiality and ethics.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Language skills: Excellent command of English and Arabic, written and spoken.
• Education: Minimum Bachelor Degree in relevant field.
