About the job
The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant will be working under the direct supervision of the Area Monitoring and Evaluation Manager. She/he will be responsible of communicating M&E information, gathering data from the field staff, follow up on activities and reporting. Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
• Organize and conduct monitoring visits with DRC beneficiaries and to DRC program sites;
• Assist the MEL Officer/Manager carry out the daily/weekly/monthly work plan;
• Assist the MEL Officer/Manager with administrative and logistic requirements of the M&E Team;
• Ensure monitoring schedule, data collection targets, and reporting deadlines are adhered to;
• Assist with all other duties as required by the MEL Officer/Manager.
About you
• To be successful in this role we expect you to have diploma in social sciences, humanities, public health, or high school diploma with significant professional experience . Moreover, we also expect the following:
Required
• Good knowledge of local context and community in the Bekaa area
• Knowledge of MS word, excel and access required.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience working with communities, familes and individuals with special needs.
Desirable
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferably in social work, community development, non government, and/or outreach organizations.

We offer
- Contract length: until end of July 2018
- Level: B1, Monthly Basic Salary USD 1250.
- Duty Station: Bekaa
- Start date: May 2018
