BLN Officer - Saida

Main RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan coordinate and implement BLN activities following the methodologies set by the livelihood department respecting the administrative, logistical and communication procedures;
• Ensure the implementation of operational work plan, setting clear targets and activity plans per center under the supervision of the BLN coordinator;
• Work closely with the teachers to ensure the implementation of the activities as per the methodology set by the education specialist (Lesson plan planned, reports, student’s evaluation…);
• Supervise and monitor the quality of implementation of BLN courses insuring that the pedagogical approach is applied by the teachers, through regular field visits to the centers;
• Insure follow up of the beneficiaries following the sessions to track youth development;
• Provide comprehensive reports along the year to the BLN coordinator including quantitative data and full descriptive narrative as per the project annual work plan;
• Collaborate with the M&E department and facilitate data collection and analysis through different the M&E tools (Focus group discussion, surveys, database…)
• Responsible of maintaining the archiving system up to date (both in hardcopies and electronically).
• Demonstrate an understanding of the integrated approach of the program;
• Perform any other relevant duties as required.

STUDIES REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Education.  Development/Humanitarian Studies or Social Science is a plus
