Project Coordinator

Main Tasks

  • Coordinates activities of Stand up for social change project with other projects or staff to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures and specifications.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of Stand up for social change Project.
  • Work with the operation's manager and the team to design a timetable of activities in the CBO and outside it, as well as develop a plan for monitoring the quality and impact of those activities.
  • Coordinate with the case workers & supervise their work.  
  • Coordinate with PSS team leader & the PP community facilitator & FPSS Facilitator to identify vulnerable parents and children in the district and produce materials/host events to promote the work of the center to the local community.
  • Collect the logistic needs of the centers and act accordingly to ensure the center is fully equipped and meets the needs of the program (make procurement requests, support the delivery of goods to the center etc.), and report the needs to the operation's manager &/or to the direct supervisor).
  • Help coordinate the daily provision of snacks for children and parents by delivering the weekly needs to the operation's manager &/or his/her direct supervisor. 
  • Prepares periodic reports, financial Expenses and Expectation and records on Stand up for social change project, progress, status or other special reports.
  • Develops and schedules Stand up for social change project activity work plan in accordance with specifications Budget; oversees daily operations and coordinates activities of the work plan, determine priorities.
  • Evaluates Stand up for social change project activities for effectiveness and develops improved methods; analyzes results and recommends and/or takes appropriate action.
  • Put the outreach plan and manage it in coordination with the center manager and the his/her direct supervisor.
  • Represents SFDO in public relations/liaison capacity on matters relating to Step forward project.
  • Organize regular meetings with the project's staff in order to ensure the correct implementation of the program according to the working plan.
  •  Work together with the staff to regularly review and update the work plan, when needed.
  • Provide his/her direct manager with regular activity, monitoring and if needed incidents reports.
  • Any other task assigned by the line manager.

Administration tasks

  • Formulates monthly reports on the whole projects activities.
  • Develop, manage and maintains a strong filing system of the project.
  • Any other task assigned by the line manager.

Knowledge and Experience
 

  • Knowledge of Basic budgeting and accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of organizational practices.
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles.
  • Degree in social work , business management or related field
  • Experience of supporting education and  psycho-social  projects
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience working with children/refugees/vulnerable populations

  • Strong inter-personal skills, Strong communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
