Advanced IT Trainer - Tripoly

Assignment

The trainer is responsible for delivering IT training at the Social Development Centers in Tripoli area ( Qoubbeh and Beb El Tebbeneh)

Functions

Train beneficiaries on IT

• Provide IT training at Social Development Center mentioned above in Tripoli area( Qobbeh and Beb El Tebbeh) , 
• Provide part time trainings on a daily basis to different groups of beneficiaries with sessions which are 3 to 4 hours long for each IT courses based on pre-defined schedule by the Project Manager.
• Monitor and track training feedback from trainees.
• Provide record and evaluate effective training activities.
• Review and evaluate tests/assignments completed by beneficiaries
• Provide ad-hoc support to beneficiaries through answering questions, providing additional resource materials etc.

Reporting

• Register daily attendance of trainees of the courses taught.
• Follow up and report the number of sessions provided and report to the training coordinator/Project Manager.
• Provide weekly reports to training coordinator/Project Manager updating on training progress for the SDC for IT courses.
• Provide weekly work plan to the Project Manager.

Coordination

• Coordinate with SDC Director and Project Manager with all updates related to the implementation process.

Target audience and profile

• The trainings will be delivered to mixed groups aged 18-45 with at least basic literacy and numeracy.
• Beneficiaries’ selection will be carried out by ACTED.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in teaching;
• Patience and positive attitude is highly requested,
• Ability to provide explanation to trainees when necessary.
• Strong and committed interest in teaching and training, with extensive previous experience in conducting training.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent command of written and oral English and Arabic.
• Good Presentation skills.
• Understanding of aspects related to group dynamics and personal psychology.

• Proficiency with the following :

1. Elaboration of web development skills including HTML and CSS
2. Introduction to basics of PHP
3. Introduction to JavaScript
