1-DUTIES (Duties are tasks related to achieving the work requirements by this position)
* Work closely with the team, to develop creative campaign concepts.
* Develop original and targeted digital copies to drive traffic to various micro sites, landing pages for fundraising purposes.
* Develop highly engaging social media content in English (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube).
* Develop creative content for blogs and news articles.
*Create work that is optimized for the Web. Common Web content writing practices include:
* Succinct, fact-filled content
* An engaging, active tone
* Writing broken up by subheadings
* Use of bulleted lists
* Embedded links throughout the text
* Provide assistance with design and visual communication content for social media.
* Lead efforts to identify new content/communication opportunities, repurpose existing content, and other creative ways and interesting angles for your articles.
* Ensure proper usage of brand, voice, and style, as well as organization, grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation.
* Tailor the content and style of individual writing assignments.
* Identify key messages: understanding the main thing that you want the reader to feel and do and how to communicate this powerfully;
* Check all copy that generated by team members and offer feedback when necessary.
* Perform other related duties as required

2.1 Business Skills
* Ability to achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
* Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, meet deadlines and work with attention to detail
* Skill in establishing priorities
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in team environment
* Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic; French is a plus
* Excellent reporting, communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience working with USAID or other donor agencies is considered a plus.
* Previous experience in copywriting is a must.
