Graphic Design Intern

Internship with Advocacy Department BRIEF of WVL and INTERNSHIP World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization working to create lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities living in poverty. World Vision has been active in Lebanon since 1975. World Vision promotes the wellbeing of Lebanon’s children and their communities through emergency relief, community development and advocacy. WVL through in its National office, External Engagement department in Mansourieh, will host an intern in an internship position with WVL. DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES UNDER INTERNSHIP - Strong Arabic and English communication and writing skills - Assist with design of promotional graphics, flyers, banners, posters, invitation cards, project briefs, reports and other advertising and marketing materials as needed. - Edit images and pictures using photoshop for design. - Assist with other graphic design tasks as needed - Planning and designing of material as a part of social media and media campaigns. TIMELINE The consultant is expected to start working on the above mentioned task in May for a period of Maximum 2 months. The duration of the internship and working days will be agreed on with the selected Intern. CONDITIONS OF INTERNSHIP - Physical presence at the office is not mandatory all week. Agreement on tasks and deliverables can be done remotely. - WV has the rights to the work and designs developed by the designer. The graphic designer can share the work during the internship after getting approval from WV - Graphic designer needs to maintain confidentially with regards to WV information and information not for public dissemination. PAYMENT TO INTERN WVL will pay to Student a stipend of $ 250 per month. This stipend will in no event constitute a wage or salary. Employee benefits are not provided to intern by WVL. INTERNSHIP EXPENSES WVL will pay 8,000 LL per working day as compensation for transportation costs incurred for meetings at the office. NEEDED QUALIFICATIONS - Graphic design major - Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills - Knowledge of digital media software- illustrator and photoshope, adobe, indesign and other graphic design software - Energy with a desire to come up with new ideas For interested applicants, Please send the Curriculum Vitae
