Job Title: HR & ADMINISTRATION Coordinator
Duty Station: GVC Office in Zahle with regular travels to GVC Offices in Lebanon.
Line Manager: GVC Country Director
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate HR practices and priorities across the country program in order to provide and reinforce the recruitment and ongoing development of a competent and efficient team;
- Advise senior management on legal, staff development and performance management issues;
- Participate in discussions about structure, organizational development and change initiatives in line with the organization strategic objectives;
- Monitor all human resource activities in alignment with the HR strategic objectives;
- Ensure the coordination of the HR and ADMIN Department;
- Manage the HR and ADMIN Personnel in GVC Lebanon Mission;
- Compiling HR monthly reports and submits to the Country Director;
- Implement GVC recruitment procedures in accordance with Lebanese Labour Law;
- Assure that all GVC staff are contracted using the correct GVC templates and in accordance with Lebanese Labour Law;
- Assure an introductory presentation and GVC welcome pack for all new staff;
- Liaise with the insurance company to assure coverage and good case management for all GVC staff according to GVC specifications;
- Liaise with the auditor on all NSSF related issues;
- Assure that staff dossiers are complete, confidential and up to date in accordance to the personnel checklist, and that staff are equipped as required by their positions;
- Assure that all GVC staff abide to GVC staff manual;
- Manage staff evaluations processes with line managers, and collective and individual staff grievances;
- Liaise with HQ and logistics to arrange accommodation and transportation for international and national staff when needed;
- Payroll preparation;
- Attend HR coordination meetings in coordination with the line manager;
- Participate in drafting policies and procedures;
- Manage the HR/Admin department and team;
- Regularly update the payment table to manage contract expenses and payments;
- Liaise with logistics and finance in order to manage all GVC contracts, ensuring their completion and that payments clauses are respected;
- Maintain organized hard copy files of all contracts according to GVC filing system;
- Liaise with logistics in order to ensure all GVC premises are to good working/living standards;
