POSITION SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES AND TASKS
Objective 1 - Technical planning, implementation, supervision and monitoring of the field activities (70%)
To provide support to the FSL Programme Manager for the design of the livelihoods and training activities
Under the guidance of Deputy Program Manager and/or FSL Program Manager, conduct daily training sessions on Nutrition and Sustainable Agriculture as per the curriculum validated by the donor (WFP)
To conduct livelihoods activities in the field under the guidance of the Deputy Programme Manager (awareness sessions, input distribution, other trainings, set up, maintenance, monitoring, reporting, etc.)
To conduct household visits, focus group discussions and key informant interviews upon the request of Deputy Program Manager and/or FSL Program Manager
Daily follow up for the cash for work activities with the civil engineer and the municipality focal point, to support the project engineer
Monitor the conformity of the field works (trainings, field visits, meeting, etc…) with the standards of Action Against Hunger, and as per the agreed activity planned, BoQs and contracts.
Ensure the timely implementation of field works as per the predefined schedule.
Inform and document the anomalies and the challenges carried out during the implementation phase of the program, and immediately inform the programme manager
Keep administration of the activities under his/her supervision (for instance, attendance lists, collection of invoices, delivery notes, etc)
Objective 2 - Stakeholder coordination (10%)
Field coordination with local partners on best implementation including participants, local farmers and communities affected by the project activities.
Field coordinate with local authorities and ensuring continuous communication with beneficiaries and communities’ representatives regarding the implementation of works and in order to ensure a flawless progress of activities.
Support in building relationships between Action Against Hunger, district authorities, municipalities and communities.
Objective 3 - Data collection and reporting. (20%)
File, document and report work progress to his/her line manager on a daily basis
Regular reporting of work progress to the FSL Programme Managers, Deputy Program Manager.
Immediately report any possible problem or conflict during the activities.
Report the use of materials and possible improvement.
Objective 4 – Security
Tasks
Respect the security rules specified in the mission and base security plan, see to it that the team under his/her responsibility complies with the security plan and perform the security management tasks that can be assigned in its protocols.
Communicate to the security managers of the working location any security related information or noncompliance with the security plan
Objective 5 - Support humanitarian activities of Action Against Hunger
Support the emergency interventions of the organization as per the employee’s abilities.
Support any activity that helps reaching our humanitarian goals, as per the employee’s abilities.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Training/ Education: Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, food security or any related field.
Technical specific knowledge: Food security and livelihoods, agriculture, nutrition.
Knowledge and experience in applying humanitarian principles.
Previous experience: 1-year experience working in humanitarian action or development.
Demonstrated experience working with refugee or vulnerable populations.
Demonstrated experience in capacity building programs and/or in conducting trainings.
Experience in child care practices and nutrition programmes is a plus
Humanitarian sector knowledge: Good team worker, good listener, strong communication skills, good animator and facilitator.
Action Against Hunger knowledge: Not essential
Languages: Excellent Arabic (speaking, reading, writing). Working English (speaking).
IT and specific systems: Good command of MS Office, especially in PowerPoint.
Mobility (national/ international): South Lebanon. The position requires travels to Chebaa on a regular basis with possible overnight stays in Marjayoun.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE:
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:

Formal work contract: 2 months
Salary: from 1,830,000 LBP to 2,180,000 LBP gross per month according to candidate’s previous experience (according to standard list of Action Against Hunger - Spain). Action Against Hunger - Spain remuneration system allows a salary progression based on the annual development appraisal.

LBP 8,000 daily transportation allowance on working days
