Operational Roles and Responsibilities
Order and receive the needed medicine from the Central Pharmacy.
Collect medical history of patients and measure vital signs (monitor the blood pressure, the temperature, etc.)
Register services provided and treatment plan for each patient on their designated files.
Provide the needed medicine to the patient and per the doctor’s prescription.
Maintain medicine inventory on a daily basis and follow-up on the expiry date of drugs.
Conduct educational lectures and sessions related to Health promotion.
Refer and coordinate with the social worker for any social and/or psychological case identified.
Refer antenatal and reproductive health cases to the midwife when needed.
Refer patients to doctors and other medical specialists for needed cases.
Promote, implement and follow at all times the universal hygiene standards/precautions and infection control.
Report weekly and monthly the activities held at the health center to the HQ and the Head of Local Branch.
