Grants Manager (Part-Time)

Specific duties:

 

Programme Development

  • Support development of concept notes and proposals in coordination with the Programme Manager before submitting to Head Office.
  • Develop a funding mobilization plan reflecting the HD Programme strategy in coordination with Programme Manager.

 

Grants Management

  • Undertake mapping of funding opportunities tailored to the stakeholders and NPA HD strategies.
  • Establish an internal donor database for the NPA Lebanon programme.
  • Ensure high-quality, well-written and timely reports meeting donor requirements in coordination with Programme Manager.
  • Guarantee compliance with donor and reporting guidelines, and ensure that grant opening meetings are held and upload supporting documentation on Share Point.

 

Information Management and Communication

  • Support the production and design of communication and visibility tools in line with NPA visibility guidelines, including monthly fact-sheets, annual reporting, flyers, posters, etc. in compliance with donor communication plans.

 

Capacity-Building and Mentoring

  • Support the training and development of NPA HD staff on donor proposal and report writing.

 

Additional work may be required in the form of supporting the Development the development Programme with grant management needs such as advice and quality controlling donor related proposals and reports.

 

Function prerequisite:

 

Education

  • Relevant formal higher education.
  • Fluency in English, written and verbal is essential.

 

Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience from similar positions.
  • Proven track record in fundraising, donor relations, and constructive stakeholder dialogue.
  • Previous experience working on EU, DFID, NMFA and USDoS contracts is preferable.
  • Experience in humanitarian disarmament and other humanitarian sectors.
  • Previous experience in capacity development.

 

Other Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • High computer literacy, particularly using Microsoft Word, Publisher, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good cultural understanding in a Lebanese context.
  • Ability and readiness to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills.

 

Additional Consideration

  • The Grants Manager is to abide by the policies and personal code of conduct set by the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) and represent the organization in a responsible and professional manner. 
  • This position is a national position and the contractual agreement will be based on the Lebanese Labor law and NPA Lebanon HR policy.
