Communications Volunteer

Terre des Hommes Italy (TDH- IT) is recruiting communications volunteer to work for the consortium in the Terre des Hommes Italy Beirut office with Field visits to support the implementation of the ‘Back to the Future’ project, aimed at building the resilience of Syrian Refugees and affected host populations through educational and PSS activities.

Job Purpose:

Support the consortium Communications officer – (based in Lebanon Terre des Hommes Beirut Office )

Key Responsibilities:

communications volunteer is in charge of:

• Support the consortium Communications officer – (based Lebanon)

 Events:

• To be present during the center events 
• Take pictures during the events
• Write social media post or press release on the events that took place at the centers.
• Monitor and edit Terre des Hommes Facebook page: posting and replying to messages
• Act as a translator between foreign journalists visiting the project on press trips, and the children/caregivers
• Translating English text to Arabic (i.e. case studies, facebook posts, etc.)
• Interviewing caregivers, children, and staff for case/success stories.
