Project Manager (for EPI registry system)

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

The Project Manager (for EPI registry system) shall be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinate all the project operational functions.
  • Coordinate the development and the implementation of the EPI registry within a 3-month work-plan including the tasks of development, integration, training, and implementation of the EPI registry.
  • Develop and monitor the programme budget;
  • Hold regular meetings with the senior developer, team of developers , IOCC and UNICEF;
  • Serve as primary project focal point with the Ministry of Public Health for administrative tasks;
  • Coordinate training and coaching sessions
  • Handle all UNICEF reporting requirements.

Deliverables

  • Monthly plan of action agreed by the developers team, MOPH and UNICEF
  • Monthly progress report developed jointly by the developers team
  • Financial report
  • Coordination of technical report (to be developed by developers)
  • Documented conduct of the intervention

 

Qualifications

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and initiative taker. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Good knowledge of IT systems and software.
  • Experience in development of web applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of MVC, C#, Backbone.js, JQuery, Java Script, HTML, Bootstrap.
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience of DevExpress dashboard development is a plus
  • Ability to achieve results and meet deadlines in a demanding, pressured and fast-paced environment.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Diplomacy and dynamic personality.
  • Capacity and willingness to travel to the field.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English; French is a plus.

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of work experience.
  • Previous experience in NGO and humanitarian field is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in IT program implementation is an advantage.
