Web Developer Consultant

1-Duties

• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical need
• Work closely with the team, to develop creative concepts.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Creating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Familiar in using PHP frameworks such as Laravel
• Work on the frontend and the backend of the website.
• Strong grasp of security principles
• Performing Website updates when needed.
• Perform other related duties as required

2-Business Skills

• Proven working experience in web programming
• Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
• Ability to achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
• Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, meet deadlines and work with attention to detail
• Skill in establishing priorities
• Experience working with USAID or other donor agencies is considered a plus.
• Previous experience in website development is a must.
