Communication Officer

Responsibilities:

• Administer and create media content for LTA’s running Projects.
• Administer and create content for LTA’s social media outlets;
• Support in drafting public statements issued to the press;
• Assist and support advocacy efforts implemented by the organization;
• Liaise with various stakeholders, which includes: media outlets, independent journalists, news agencies, and websites;
• Coordinate with different TI chapters in the MENA and globally to facilitate communications and information sharing;
• Develop and implement a communications strategy for the organization, which includes social media platforms, websites, as well as media outlets;

Qualifications

University degree in Communication, Journalism and media or related fields;

Experience working in the field of communication and Journalism as well as working with Civil Society Organizations;

Experience working with NGOs;

Good computer skills in common word processing and graphics programs ;

Excellent and demonstrable English and Arabic language skills, both spoken and written. French is a plus.
