Basmeh and Zeitooneh works on relief and development in marginalized and vulnerable areas in Lebanon and Turkey. Amongst other services, we provide protection and peace education in all of our community centers, which are located in Beirut, the Beqaa and North.
We are currently doing an assessment of the impact of peace education on youth aged 14 to 17 in Shatila, focusing on factors that indicate a susceptibility to VE. For this assessment we are conducting interviews with 8 to 12 youth that are participating in the program, as well as with their caregivers. We are also using the data from KAP surveys done with the youth at the beginning and end of the peace education cycle they participated in.
The purpose of the consultancy is to analyse the data from these interviews, between 16 and 24 in total, and KAP surveys and write a report based on the findings.
